December 22, 2011

21 Centrale Partners is pleased to announce its investment in Vacances directes, the number two player in the French market for mobile home rentals.

With a two-facet business activity as a tour operator and operator, Vacances directes has built a solid reputation since 1976 as a provider of high standard vacation packages with quality modern mobile homes in prime campsite locations. The company has a fleet of over 5,500 mobile homes operating out of 128 vacation campsites in France, Italy, and Spain, which puts Vacances directes among the leaders in this market. The company has generated sales in excess of M 30 for 2011.

Vacances directes has a competitive positioning in an attractive market characterized by high visibility and recurring revenues. The company has a high quality offer and benefits from recognized commercial expertise, a dedicated website (www.vacances-directes.com, an efficient call center for client service, and a catalog of which over 300,000 units are printed annually.

The management team will be backed by the experience of 21 Centrale Partners to pursue and accelerate a strategy of organic growth, focusing on premium partnerships with prime location campsites to broaden the client base. The support of 21 Centrale Partners should also be valuable for carrying out targeted build-ups in a market which remains highly fragmented.

Gérard Pluvinet, Founding Managing Partner and François Barbier, Managing Partner of 21 Centrale Partners commented: "We are partnering with a talented management team which shares our strategic vision for development. All the right ingredients are there for Vacances directes to reinforce its positioning and create substantial value".

Benoît Fuchs, Chairman of Vacances directes, added: “We are very pleased to benefit from the broad 21 Partners network which will be instrumental for commercial development, particularly at an international level”.
